Welcome to the Fearless Felting website. I’m Lauren Loeffler, the “Fearless Felter”.  I’ve been knitting for 25 years and started machine felting knitted woolen handbags in hot water several years ago. It’s a combination of art and science! I began to design my own patterns and currently have 16 original designs you can knit, felt and custom embellish to your liking.

All of our patterns are original designs and are easy to follow, even for the beginning knitter. We use both straight and circular needles in our designs. The photos on our site will show you how easy it is to come up with a unique and original bag, decorated to showcase your personal style. You can say yours is a “designer original” when people stop you to admire your one-of-a-kind bag!
